The manuscripts of these texts exist in slightly different versions, present Shukra's motion in the skies, but vary in their data, suggesting that the text were open and revised over their lives. Other texts such as Surya Siddhanta dated to have been complete sometime between the 5th century and 10th century present their chapters on various planets with deity mythologies. These texts present Shukra as one of the planets and estimate the characteristics of the respective planetary motion. Shukra as a planet appears in various Hindu astronomical texts in Sanskrit, such as the 5th century Aryabhatiya by Aryabhatta, the 6th century Romaka by Latadeva and Panca Siddhantika by Varahamihira, the 7th century Khandakhadyaka by Brahmagupta and the 8th century Sisyadhivrddida by Lalla. It is popularly propitiated through Devi Aradhana or worshipping the goddess Lakshmi. It could be watched once for some thrilling sequences. In Hindu religion, Shukra is the name of a son of Bhrigu, of the third Manu, one of the saptarishis. Shukra is a thriller film that lacks a gripping screenplay and logic. The scenes between the leads should have dealt with more effective scenes. The cinematography and the BGM add more support to the film than the screenplay and performances. Those scenes seem to be stretchy and they didn’t move from that and deal with the rest. The story moves around the murders that happened on the party day. Certain emotional scenes should have been shot well. Although there are a lot of suspense elements, they are spoiled by the logical loopholes. That is the main thing missing in this film. The leads Arvind and Srijitaa, did what the director asked them to do.Įven though a story is good, the screenplay makes it sensible and interesting. Who murdered Ria and her relatives?
